Package Design for Chilewe Brands

Chilewe brands, a consumer brands company based in South Africa wanted unique package and advertising designs for five different types of the Nak brands.

Challenge

Create 5 different types package and adverting designs of Nak that would connect with an audience who love WWE.

Solution

 People mostly connect to WWE with its celebrates. They connect to WWE with the winners .We did an small research to find out the most loved WWE celebrities in South Africa and started designing  the packages around those celebrities.

The colors used are used to reflect a crunchy, tasty and mouth watering snack.

We then created an advertising package design with the elephant as the main character. The elephant is considered the largest land animal, with is in mind, this design of a consumer brand and in this case snacks,  was made to make consumers feel mighty, winners and strong.

Results

The designs were used in a PPC campaign and achieved a Click Through Rate (CTR) of 0.09%, which generated a number of new sales. In the campaign’s inaugural month of activity the Cost Per Action (CPA) was reduced by 20%, surpassing the client’s target. The months that followed in the digital PPC campaigns saw post-click revenue  (generated by both dynamic retargeting and the prospecting campaign) produce a Return on Investment (ROI) of 272%.
